Boyan Heights Rainforest Retreat is situated in the rainforest at the base of Mount Peon and the Sarawak River beside the Bidayuh Village of Git. This is the same mountain but on the opposite side facing towards Giam Homestay. Suri, who is married to an Australian is the owner of this homestay.
The house itself has been designed and built to reflect the traditional architecture of the region. Based on traditional Bidayuh longhouse design with a modern twist, the homestay has been designed to maximize the mountain and rainforest views as well as capture the breeze to ensure the house is always relatively cool and airy.
Being modern yet unique makes this place very appealing for overnight stay. There are three rooms available for guests to rent. Each room is fully furnished – with king size bed, ceiling fan, air-conditioner, toilet and bathroom, patio and wireless Internet access. Each room can fit up to four people.
Apart from fully furnished rooms, there are other facilities available for guests: sitting room with satellite TV, dining room that opens up on to the main veranda and pool area, pool and BBQ area as well as refrigeration space.
